Bug Out Pest Control ("Bug Out," "we," "us") provides pest control services in Yuma County, Arizona, and operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What We Collect

When you request service through our forms, we ask for your name, phone number, email address, the pest problem you're dealing with, and an optional message. Phone number is the only required field.

Like most websites, our server keeps standard logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the date and time of each visit. We use these to keep the site running and secure.

We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy. The site uses only functional cookies needed for it to work — nothing that tracks you across other websites.

How We Use Your Information

• Keeping service records — what we treated, when, and with what products
• Meeting record-keeping and reporting obligations that apply to licensed pest control businesses in Arizona

Text Messages and Phone Calls

If you provide your phone number, you agree that Bug Out may contact you at that number by phone call and by text message in connection with your service request and your account.

Texts you may receive include:

• Confirmation that a technician is scheduled and on the way
• Appointment reminders and scheduling changes
• Invoices and payment links for services performed

Some of these messages are sent automatically by the software we use to schedule service and handle billing. Message frequency depends on how often you receive service. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by telling us during a call. Opting out of texts does not stop us from calling you about scheduled service, and it does not cancel your service.

We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

Payments and Billing

When you pay for service, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. Card and bank details are collected and stored by that processor under its own privacy and security practices, not by us. We receive confirmation of payment and the information needed for our own records, such as amount, date, and the service it applied to.

Invoices may be delivered by text message or email at the number or address you provide.

When We Share Information

• Service providers. We use third-party tools to run our business, including our website host, form and email delivery software, scheduling and field service software, and a payment processor. These providers may process your information on our behalf and are expected to keep it confidential.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
• Property transactions. If you order a WDIR or inspection report, we deliver that report to the parties to the transaction — such as your realtor, lender, or escrow company — as directed by you.
• Business transfer. If Bug Out is sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep service records for as long as needed to service your property, meet Arizona record-keeping requirements, and handle guarantee claims. Website form submissions that don't become customers are deleted periodically.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting who can access it. No website or system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.

Your Choices

• Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP
• Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, using the contact details below
• Skip any optional field — only a phone number is required to request service

Children

Our services and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
