Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the Bug Out Pest Control website and to pest control services we provide in Yuma County, Arizona. By using this site or scheduling service, you agree to them.
Website Information
Content on this website — pest descriptions, prevention tips, seasonal guides — is general information about pests in the Yuma area. It is not a diagnosis of conditions at your specific property. What's actually happening at your home is determined by an inspection.
Our Content
The text, images, logos, and design of this website belong to Bug Out Pest Control and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The Bug Out name and logo are our marks. Please don't reproduce or reuse our content without written permission.
Pricing and Estimates
Prices shown on this website are starting prices, not quotes. Your final price depends on your property's size, condition, and pest pressure, and is confirmed after an inspection. Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Service Requests and Scheduling
Submitting a form on this site is a request for service, not a confirmed appointment. We aim to respond the same business day, but same-day response is a goal, not a guarantee. Your appointment is confirmed when we contact you and agree on a time.
Membership Plans
- Desert Defense plans are month-to-month. There is no long-term contract and no early termination fee.
- Plans renew automatically until you cancel.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Plan pricing may change; we will give you notice before a price change takes effect.
Our Service Guarantee
If pests covered by your plan return between scheduled visits, we come back and re-treat at no charge. That is the guarantee, and here is its scope:
- It covers the pests included in your plan — not pests outside it.
- It does not cover new infestations where our prevention recommendations were not followed.
- It does not cover structural damage of any kind, including termite damage.
- It does not apply where we are denied the access needed to treat.
The guarantee is limited to re-treatment. It is not a damage warranty or insurance.
Property Access and Preparation
- We need access to the areas being treated at the scheduled time.
- Please follow any preparation instructions we provide before your visit.
- Secure pets during treatment.
- Tell us in advance about chemical sensitivities, beekeeping, aquariums, or edible gardens on the property so we can plan the treatment accordingly.
- Missed appointments without notice may be charged a missed-visit fee.
Products and Treatments
We use EPA-registered products, applied by licensed technicians according to the product label. When a treatment requires a re-entry interval, your technician will tell you how long to stay off treated areas.
WDIR and Inspection Reports
A Wood Destroying Insect Report (WDIR) or pest inspection is a visual inspection of accessible areas at a single point in time. It is not a warranty, a guarantee, or insurance against the presence of wood-destroying insects.
- It does not cover areas that are obstructed or concealed by finished surfaces, insulation, stored belongings, furniture, floor coverings, or landscaping.
- It is not a structural or engineering evaluation.
- It reflects conditions on the inspection date only. Conditions can change after that date.
Questions about structural integrity should go to a qualified engineer or licensed contractor.
Licensing and Insurance
Bug Out Pest Control is licensed to perform pest control in Arizona and carries general liability insurance.
Service Area
We serve Yuma County: Yuma, Fortuna Foothills, Somerton, San Luis, Wellton, Tacna, Roll, and Dateland. Rural communities are served on scheduled routes, so scheduling windows there may be longer than in town.
Reviews
Customer reviews shown on this site describe individual experiences. Pest pressure varies by property and season, and results vary.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent Arizona law allows, Bug Out's total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
